MCHN partners with Mid-Ohio Food Collective and Feeding America
Christ's Table, which is one of the four hot meal programs in the Muskingum County Hunger Network, has our truck out six days a week. We pick up perishable food, from several local stores and restaurants, that would have otherwise been thrown away. The food is then distributed among 13 food pantries and four hot meal programs in the Muskingum County Hunger Network. In 2022, we were able to pick up 473,040 pounds of perishable food! That food is such a HUGE help with fighting hunger in our community!
Community Service Site
We work with the area court systems, Job & Family Services, high schools, and colleges as a place people can go to if they need to work off fines, community service, JFS assistance, or volunteer hours. Please call 740-452-9766 for more information.
If you have hours you need to do through a court system or JFS ask for Tim, or volunteer hours through a school or business please ask for Keely or Carly.
